About Me

From artist, to student, to tattoo artist

Before beginning my journey as a tattoo artist, I studied Global Systems Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. I enjoyed university life and the subject itself, but over time I realised that I could not see myself spending my career behind a computer, working primarily with numbers and spreadsheets.

During my studies, the academic pressure gradually pushed creativity out of my life. Constant stress left little room for inspiration, and eventually it became clear that something needed to change. I wanted a career that allowed me to work creatively and closely with people—something that felt both meaningful and hands-on. Having worked in service roles since a young age, that human connection has always been important to me. Tattooing offered exactly that balance between art, craftsmanship, and personal interaction. So after attaining my bachelors degree from Chalmers I decided to change course completely.

I grew up in Värmland, surrounded by nature, which shaped my values early on and gave me a deep respect for the environment. Choosing tattooing as a profession is, in some ways, contradictory, as it relies heavily on single-use materials. Because of this, sustainability is something I take very seriously in my practice. I am committed to doing everything I can to make my work as environmentally responsible as possible, in line with my beliefs.
